If the air conditioner is operating in dry cooling mode, lower the temperature setting, change the mode to dehumidifying operation, or set the automatic dehumidifying setting in the setting menu to ON. If the air conditioner is operating in dehumidifying mode, lower the temperature setting. If it is operating in dry mode, set the temperature setting to a low level. Did this solve your problem?.
After the air conditioner starts operating, the sensor performs processing to determine whether people are present or not. This processing takes about 2 minutes. Please wait during this time. The sensor may not detect small children or sleeping people because their movements are small. A decrease in the sensor's recognition performance may occur when the room temperature is high. If the human motion sensor does not detect people, move your hands side to side in a large motion in front of the indoor unit for more than 3 seconds. Make sure that the human motion sensor is set to ON, and check to see if the flap moves to the left and right.
The sensor may not detect people at locations far away from the indoor unit. Check if the front panel is installed properly. If the front panel is dislodged from the proper installation position, the detection range of the human motion sensor may decrease. The sensor may not detect people moving toward or away from the indoor unit. If the front panel is dirty, the sensor may fail to detect. Clean the front panel.
Did this solve your problem?. The target humidity may not be reached when the humidity in the room is low, when the wall/floor materials in the room are dry, or when the room is not well-sealed. Check if a heater is operating to warm the room. If the room temperature is increasing due to a heater or other reason, the humidity setting can decrease. Check if the size of the room in which the product is larger than the product is designed for?. Check if the humidity setting is set to LOW.
Check if the air flow rate (fan) setting is set to LOW. Set the humidity setting (HUM SET) to 'CONT' and increase the air flow rate (fan setting). Did this solve your problem?. Are the deodorizing filter, humidifying filter and humidifying tray clean? If they are dirty, clean them. Discard residual water from the humidifying tray each time you fill the water tank.
When the product is not used for humidifying operation, discard water from the water tank and humidifying tray. Check if the unit was moved from another room. The odor from the product may be the odor of the room where it was used before. Operate the unit for a short period of time. Did this solve your problem?.
Check if the unit was tilted before. If the unit is tilted, water may spill. When moving the unit, discard water from the water tank and humidifying tray.
Is the cap on the water tank tightened firmly? If the cap is loose, water may leak. Tighten the cap firmly. Check the water scale to see if the humidifying filter has collected a large amount of water. If a large amount of water has been collected on the humidifying filter, water may leak. Clean the humidifying filter.
Did this solve your problem?. Was there a strong odor when the power cord was connected to the AC outlet? The product sets the reference sensitivity level of the odor sensor based on the odor detected during the first 1 minute or so after the power cord is connected to AC outlet. Operate the unit until there is no odor in the room, and then stop the operation, unplug the power cord, wait for more than 5 seconds, and then connect the power cord again. This resets the reference sensitivity level of the odor sensor. If the concentration of odor remains consistent regardless of its intensity, the sensor may not detect the odor even if the odor is strong.
The sensor may not detect certain odors such as pet odor (other than ammonia smell) and garlic odor. Increase the air flow rate. Did this solve your problem?
Airwell Ducted Air Conditioner Manual
I am sorry if ask wha may seem like a few silly questions, but I need some clarification to assist you better. Is this a Residential AC Unit? -If it is a residential AC unit, where is the thermostat located for this unit? -Do you know if there is a wall mounted thermistor located on the wall in another room or in the room it cools? I ask these questions, because generally if the fan coil is mounted in the ductwork, then there isn't always a way of controlling it remotely. Generally, it's controlled by hard-wired thermostat. If you know it was controlled remotely, then you will need to go the website for the Airwell Fan coil and do a search on programming the remote.
