Ok here is how its done, instructions courtesy of Skezza Open up your sys.txt file in Notepad. At the bottom, you need to add this, in it's entirety: http enabled=1 naviextras bootserviceaddress='network available=1 services serveraddr='channel='winmo' devicetype='iGO Primo' brand='Nav N Go' productbrand='Nav N Go' productmodel='iGO Primo' naviextrassilent=1 tmc-http enabled=1 start=1 dtdl0=120.0 dldist0km=500.0 servers.size=1 servers0.url='Just a quick explanation, the first part enables the HTTP part of iGo, without this, it won't work. The second and third part (naviextras + services) is for Google Local search and other Online related functions. This is optional, and if you don't want it, leave it out, but I find it useful and it's probably faster than searching the unit itself! The fourth part is the main meal.

If you're in the USA or a large country, you might want to consider increasing the size of the distance downloaded. I set it to 500km which is 310 miles, pretty much most of England lol! That said, downloading Traffic Data doesn't require much as it's all just textual, so I could increase that to cover the entire UK. Just remember though, by the time you've driven 310 miles, the traffic incident will have probably happened, been cleared up and everyone gone home lol! Don't alter the server address, including the part about 'iphone'. Offline Joined: Sun Apr 07, 2013 7:23 pm Posts: 9 Has thanked: 0 time Been thanked: 0 time.

Joburgtaxi wrote:Skezza One thing I have noticed which is not really a problem but wonder if you can confirm if you get the same. If I click on the Traffic Icon from the map screen then select to view incidents that are current, I get a list of incidents from closest to me to furthest. If I then click on one of these incidents to try and open it up, my system crashes and reboots!!No. I don't get this issue, which version are you using? When I click an event it opens up a Map where the incident has occurred with a traffic marker for the particular type of incident. Will take a photo later today to demonstrate. The only time I've had an issue with traffic was on 2.4, sometimes it would reboot the system if I clicked the on Current Traffic menu.

If you're on 2.4, I suggest reverting back to 2.0 for the time being offline Joined: Mon Jul 18, 2011 11:55 am Posts: 332 Has thanked: time Been thanked: times. Joburgtaxi wrote:Skezza Thanks for that. Yes I am on 2.4 I think this is a memory issue where the unit is running out!!!! 2.4 is buggy.

I won't be using it for a long time as I have had nothing but crashes and problems. I'm not convinced that the routing is that much better either. If you use 2.0 you will have a much better experience. I've attached a photo of a Traffic incident as selected by me 53625363 Selected the top one. Igo Primo Gps Software Windows Ce 5 Internet Explorer

I have a Please or to download file unit. I have loaded iGo-Primo 2.4-9.6.13 which works well (it is a bit buggy, but the prospect of re-doing it all with an older version makes me sweat!). This unit is not wifi or bluetooth prepared on the wince side. I am really interested in getting real time traffic working on this GPS. How did you guys get wifi working?

Did your units come from the supplier with wifi drivers and wifi usb supplied? I have found Please or to download file I don't mind paying $40 but if it is a simple job of installing the right device drivers then I would prefer to go it alone!

I want to tether to a Nokia 820 Wp8 phone via wifi, I don't know if you can do the same via bluetooth? I do not want to change the simple process of hitting Navi on the unit to get to GPS, nor do I want to have to go through any pairing/connecting process on every trip. Thank you in advance for your advise/experience on this. David offline Joined: Tue Apr 02, 2013 6:21 pm Posts: 3 Has thanked: 0 time Been thanked: 0 time. Unfortunately, Live Traffic stopped working for me yesterday.

I have a feeling they caught onto what we were doing and have disabled the server's response for WinCE devices. It's one of the reasons I wanted to keep the details private to PM only, but too many people over the Internet have published them and now they don't seem to work anymore. I imagine it'll be a while before we get it working again unfortunately. Offline Joined: Mon Jul 18, 2011 11:55 am Posts: 332 Has thanked: time Been thanked: times.

Skezza or any other live traffic user maybe you can answer my question.i have igo primo2.4 (seems stable), no wifi. I am considering applying wince patch, to get wifi working on my eonon5150 (ce6) unit. The only reason i would do this it to get live traffic details to re-route and or show me delays on the current planned route.

Can you confirm how well live traffic works with igo. I have used a live traffic tomtom and have been very impressed with its accuracy, does the wifi enabled live traffic on igo achieve this and can you dynamically re-route around a delay, if the nav software finds a quicker way? Thanks for any help Cheers david offline Joined: Tue Apr 02, 2013 6:21 pm Posts: 3 Has thanked: 0 time Been thanked: 0 time.

IGO Navigation is for real explorers who are keen on cross-border trips, or after some new exciting challenges in exotic countries. As the application runs offline after you downloaded your desired contents, you don’t have to worry about being connected, no matter where you are. Explore new regions without being online, and select from the thousands of restaurants, museums, or landmarks if you need a short break or stopover. However if internet connection is available, you can enjoy our live traffic service after you downloaded this package from the in-app shop. IGO Navigation will be a great travelling companion wherever you go. Yes, if you have purchased our live traffic information package.

To get real-time traffic information, you need to download this package from the in-app shop, and have active internet connection. If you are offline, statistical traffic information will provide you with data about the traffic in a given hour on a given day. Based on this information, the app calculates the estimated time of arrival, or you can instruct iGO Navigation to recommend an alternative route if you encounter a traffic jam along your trip. To use the subscription features, like live traffic information, you need to set up your account. If you have replaced your device or reinstalled iGO Navigation you need to set up your account to be able to restore the subscription features.

You need to enable the iCloud if you have an operating system earlier than iOS 8. If you have iOS 8 or a later version you need to enable the iCloud Drive as well. Please make sure that the iCloud is enabled at the time of purchase, otherwise the application cannot save the data necessary for restoring your purchase information. You can chose from the following options:. Interrupt the process and restart the downloading.

Remove the whole package, and restart the downloading. Don’t worry, you don’t need to pay again for your contents. Go to “Settings” in the app, and click on the arrow in the bottom right corner to select the “Reset to Default” menu option. Download the previously purchased maps and services again. In this case, you can do so without having to pay for them again. Reinstall iGO Navigation, and then go to the “Store” menu of the application and click on the arrow in the bottom right corner to select “Restore Purchases”.

This way you can reinstall all the maps and services you purchased before for free. Android: Make sure that your phone or tablet is enabled to receive GPS signals, or is connected to such a receiver. Not every model comes with a built-in GPS receiver.
