Got this idea recently after Justin from 65Drums noticed how many drum sample expansion packs for Superior Drummer & EZDrummer2 I own.;) Well, quiet a lot, obviously. A video which captures all (!) sound options would probably last three days:), so I chose this way. Loaded up a built-in preset from each expansion to show the amazing diversity that Toontrack offers - not all of them really fit to the song, but anyway, I think you'll get the point.

The Toontrack Metal Foundry SDX expansion pack for Superior Drummer 2.0 sample engine features the drumming of Meshuggah's Tomas Haake, and includes seven massive drum kits, spanning 300,000 sound files of raw, single-hit drum recordings in the vein of Drumkit From Hell and dfh Superior. The e-drum samples cover a wide variety of harder music, from the early blues-tinged sound of the late '60s classic rock to the fragmentation of today's heavier music, including power, thrash, death, and progressive metal. The Metal Foundry SDX celebrates the Toontrack Music Hard Rock and Heavy Metal legacy of the first Drumkit From Hell. The drum samples in this expansion pack was recorded and produced at Atlantis Studios in December 2008 by the original Drumkit From Hell recording team, Mattias Eklund (Toontrack Music), Fredrik Thordendal (Meshuggah), Daniel Bergstrand (Dug Out Studios), and Tomas Haake (Meshuggah).
